Greenwoods sponsors Cambridgeshire Rowing Association Town Bumps

Greenwoods Solicitors LLP is delighted to be sponsoring the Cambridgeshire Rowing Association Town Bumps again this year.

This is the second year Greenwoods has partnered with the Cambridgeshire Rowing Association and it is an ideal match. Greenwoods' solicitors are supportive, professional, team players; qualities which mirror the ethos of being a ‘Bumps’ crew member perfectly.

Greenwoods are proud to be supporting this established Cambridge tradition as they cement their presence in Cambridge, and as their solicitors continue to build their profile in the Cambridge business arena.

This year the Town Bumps take place this week from today Tuesday 19 to Friday 22 July 2016.

It was lovely to receive such positive feedback from Bill Key, President of the Cambridgeshire Rowing Association, about Greenwoods' sponsorship:  “The event has been held since 1844 and with your backing it ensures that the tradition continues”.

In case you are new to ‘The Bumps’, before the start of each race boats are spread out along the river with a length and a half of clear water in between.  The object is to catch and bump the crew in front without the boat behind catching and ‘bumping’ you!  It’s the only way to race on the narrow and winding River Cam.

You can find out more here.

The CRA and Greenwoods look forward to seeing you there!
