The HARVEY Superwalker and British Mountain Maps were ground-breaking when they launched. Designed with the input of the British Mountaineering Council and the British Geological Survey, they are exceptionally clear, accurate and easy to read.

By joining the Outdooractive ProAlliance, HARVEY is now making its mapping available to a new generation of outdoor enthusiasts who are digital natives.

Craig Wareham, CEO UK of Outdooractive, the world’s leading outdoor tourism platform, says HARVEY offers a highly respected range of paper-based, maps of popular mountain areas in the UK and Ireland: “By becoming part of our ProAlliance of content partners, HARVEY is now able to make its products available via a subscription to a new global digital audience through Outdooractive’s popular smartphone and smartwatch apps and web platform.”

Adam King, CEO of HARVEY (pictured) comments: “The Superwalker series were designed for ease of use, providing the option for digital use to improve route planning and navigation is the next logical step.

"The Outdooractive app enables you to view the maps, even without a mobile signal, and to navigate safely. For those with a watch you can quickly check you are on the right path, which is a huge benefit in poor weather. We are delighted to be able to offer our maps through this platform.”

The Outdooractive app is available as a free option with basic mapping, a Pro version with Ordnance Survey and other topological mapping, and then as the Pro+ with specialist mapping for particular interests and regularly updated weather information.

Outdooractive is creating partnerships with industry-leading publishers to offer outdoor enthusiasts access to an unrivalled range of mapping available with a single subscription.
