We get it, it’s rubbish …
I can say hand on heart that we have pulled together as a team and worked really hard to support our customers during Lockdown 1. Although it most definitely had its challenges, we worked through it and didn’t drop the ball. This time, I guess we know more in terms of ‘what to expect’.
Everyone was affected in different ways from an IT perspective and struggling with different things, which included:
- Not having enough business and needing to reduce costs
- Struggling with their phones
- Struggling with unreliable or poorly performing internet connections and remote access
- Not having enough laptops and then stock levels were a problem
- Learning how to use Teams and SharePoint! It was a crash course for some…but we’re all experts now!
- IT Security breaches are higher than ever. It’s a real risk for everyone big and small, with so many phishing scams and malware going around
- Their IT Companies not coping and providing slow and unreliable support
As we’re facing this again … we can can’t change the way of the world … but we can guarantee really good IT Support from a really good bunch of people.
