Alice joins the firm's growing Cambridge team, bringing with her solid experience in a wide range of residential property matters, including property sales, purchases, leaseholds, transfers, new-builds and overage agreements.

The government plans to build one million new homes in the region by 2050 in the Oxford Cambridge Arc, an area of huge economic potential of which the city is at the heart.

Commenting on her new appointment, Alice said: “It is exciting to be joining the team at such an interesting time and I look forward to playing my role in the growth of the region.

“From the outset, the residential property team at Hewitsons has been extremely friendly and my colleagues have made me feel welcome instantly.”

Residential property head Clare Martin said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Alice to Hewitsons’ residential property team as we continue to expand the team.  Alice joins us from a highly respected legal firm and she is bringing her wealth of experience and excellent reputation which will both enhance and be a valuable asset to the team and to Hewitsons.”

Having grown up in Kent, Alice now lives in Saffron Walden, Essex, where she enjoys her passion of crime novels and taking time out to go sea kayaking.
