Igentics wins Webby Award

The IPA and its website partners, Senior Internet and Cambridge agency Igentics, have achieved Official Honoree status at the 17th Annual International Webby Awards for an outstanding website in the 'Association' category.

IPA wins second Webby

The international Webby Awards evaluate websites on six criteria: content, structure and navigation, visual design, functionality, interactivity, and overall experience. The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences selects the winners and is comprised of web industry experts, including media mogul Arianna Huffington, Skype CEO Tony Bates, Mozilla CEO and Chair Mitchell Baker, Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom, mobile-phone inventor Martin Cooper, and StumbleUpon founder Garrett Camp.

Previous website award wins for the IPA include a Webby Honoree and a Silver Davey in 2010.

Says IPA Director of Communications Tessa Gooding, “We are delighted to be a 2013 Official Webby Honoree. Coming just under a year after the launch of our new-look website this is a great accolade to have achieved and just reward for all the hours the IPA team and our partners at Senior Internet and Igentics have put into the new site. We could not feel more proud to know we are among the top 15% of the 11,000 websites entered for the competition from more than 60 countries.”

Says David-Michel Davies, Executive Director of The Webby Awards, “Honorees like the IPA are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the internet. It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 11,000 entries we received this year."
