The organisers write:

We are delighted to be joined by Impact Women’s Network Ambassadors Alix Nadelman and Jo Twiselton, Co-owners of BEST Resilience, who will be leading this session.

The pandemic has been a hugely challenging time for many of us. Almost all of us have experienced huge shifts in our daily lives. Some of us have experienced surprising positives among the negatives. Others have made decisions that will change their careers and lives. Whatever the situations, all of us have been grappling with big emotions, for months.

We will continue to face more uncertainty over the coming weeks and months. Our ability to move forward and transition to whatever the next phase might look like, will rely on us being able to let go of some things and hold on to others. Our ability to cope with both transition and uncertainty will depend on our personal progress.

The session - which is being hosted online on Wednesday 2nd September, 9.30-10.30am - will be hosted by Impact Women’s Network co-founder, Faye Holland.

Faye says: “During this interactive online workshop, Alix and Jo will help the group to explore change and transition – how they differ and why this matters, tips for successful change and transition, and how we can build our own toolkit for change.

As with all our ImpactWN sessions, this is for everyone looking to make a positive impact. Attendees will leave the session with practical tips and ideas to navigate the next few months and beyond!”

Impact Women’s Network is a network of female professionals united in raising the public visibility of impactful women and instigating even greater change together, beyond individuals and individual organisations.

The group meet the first Wednesday of every month, 9-11am, at various locations in Cambridge (when we can) or via Zoom and Twitter (9.30-10.30am). These morning meetings are grounded in women sharing their expertise as well as their experience through Impact Talks, group activities and discussions. For 2020, the monthly sessions are focused on the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals to help end poverty, improve health and education, reduce inequality, spur economic growth, tackle climate change and preserve our oceans and forests.
