The remit covers the IB Continuum – Diploma Programme (DP), Career-related Programme (CP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Primary Years Programme (PYP).
Usma Mohammed, Head of Marketing Communications, IInternational Baccalaureate, said: “Conscious Communications has an ethical and professional approach to its services which matches our own mission. Last year the team proved their value and commitment to IB through project support for the CP and MYP, and it now feels like they are part of our organisation, gauging what we need and proactively pushing forward.”
The IB Continuum is designed to challenge students, aged three-19 years, to excel in their studies and encourages both personal and academic achievement. The newest programme, CP, is for 16-19 year olds wishing to engage in career-related learning while gaining the transferable and lifelong skills in applied knowledge, critical thinking, communication and cross-cultural engagement delivered by all of the IB programmes.
Alison Taylor, Managing Director of Conscious Communications, commented: “The IB is internationally recognised as a gold-standard in education, delivering excellent breadth and depth of knowledge across all subjects, as well as the highly regarded Core, encompassing theory of knowledge (TOK), creativity, activity, service (CAS) and the extended essay. With the current emphasis on soft skills for the workplace the new CP is filling a void and we will be leveraging the IB’s international reputation to raise awareness of this and the other programmes, while working closely with education providers to deliver the marketing tools they need. We are very proud to have been selected to support IB in delivering its exciting plans for the coming year.”
