The event was fully subscribed several days before it took place and the actual day was a huge success. Attendees “liked the anecdotes and learning points” and found the session “really excellent” and “a great experience”. Given the level of interest and the positive feedback, the course will be rerun in the near future.
The session focused on basic contract law issues and different types of contracts, emphasising practical points such as the perils and pitfalls in contract drafting and using standard form contracts to best effect. The day started with a presentation and concluded with interactive role plays and negotiating exercises.
