Cambridge, 26th September 2019 – IQGeo (AIM: IQG), a market leader in geospatial software for the telecommunications and utility industries, announced today that its Network Revenue Optimizer™ and myWorld Capture™ products have both been recognized as among the best in the industry by the 2019 Broadband Technology Report's Diamond Technology Reviews.
For both products, IQGeo received the Honoree Score of 4.5, out of a total score of 5 Diamonds. The third-party judging panel included executives from operators such as Buckeye, Comcast, Charter, Cox, Mediacom, Rogers, Spectrum and Suddenlink, plus well-known industry consultants with vast professional experience.
“The fact that both the Network Revenue Optimizer and myWorld Capture earned 4.5 Diamonds attests to a level of innovation few other entries matched,” said Stephen Hardy, Program Director of the Diamond Technology Reviews and Editorial Director of Broadband Technology Report. “Our judges were impressed by the time and cost savings both products should enable.”
Network Revenue Optimizer has been developed to enable cable providers to automatically pick the best route to serve new customers, integrating many different data sources and applying configurable rules. Example rules include; least cost, maximum revenue and maximum use of existing plant. Data sources include existing service points and capacity, cost areas, business prospects, PDF plans and street networks.
myWorld Capture is an easy-to-use mobile tool for field engineers to capture network information and make or propose changes to the network. As part of a Capture Package, users can create and modify any network features, whether it’s the addition of a new cable, or the relocation of a trench, etc. As well as add photos, notes and sketches as part of a process to validate designs, Capture provides feedback on construction activities and improves network data quality. A robust online/offline architecture enables incremental data synchronisation so that those in the field can receive up to date information from the office, as well as pushing captured data back in real-time to staff working in the office.
Jay Cadman, General Manager Americas at IQGeo, said: “Our goal is to provide productivity and collaboration tools that use geospatial data to assist in the digitization of every part of a cable company’s business, from sales through planning and engineering to operations. It is a fantastic achievement to get not just one, but two products ranked so highly by this prestigious industry awards programme. Collecting these awards will be another highlight for us at what is gearing up to be a very busy ISBE SCTE Cable-Tec Expo!
“At the event we will be showcasing both Network Revenue Optimizer and myWorld Capture, alongside a range of other products built specifically for the telecommunications sector. At the same time as the Diamond Technology Reviews ceremony, a member of the IQGeo team will be presenting at the event with our long-standing customer Cox Communications. To find out how we help Cox and many others drive efficiencies across their business, reducing costs and saving time, visit the team at booth 639.”
