Julia is a qualified counsellor and coach with extensive experience of supporting people through a broad range of issues from depression, low mood, anxiety, grief, careers and life changes & transitions.
Julia’s style of counselling is person-centred but she is passionate about supporting others to bring positive and sustainable change in their lives. She largely draws on techniques from CBT to help identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and to learn practical self-help strategies. She will commence training to become a qualified CBT therapist from September ’24.
