Kids go free at Cambridge Science Centre

The Cambridge Science Centre is seeing the summer out with a stellar offer - two children per family go free to its COSMIC exhibition*. From today (Wednesday 26 August) to Tuesday 1 September, families can get lost in space for less.

COSMIC is the perfect place for children to learn about the world around them and discover new weird and wonderful facts about space. Highlights of the exhibition include the opportunity to get up close to a real rocket engine and to discover what it feels like to orbit a black hole.

*This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

There is still time to get involved with the Cosmic Challenge.

The Centre has teamed up with businesses in Cambridge  to create the city's own interactive solar system map, which sets the scene for the Centre's COSMIC challenge. Each business featured represents a different planet, and the map illustrates the vast size and scale of the cosmos.

Using the map, youngsters are invited to track down the answers to the quiz, then pop into the Centre and claim a prize for taking part. All correct answers will be entered into a grand prize draw where there are three telescopes worth £50 each up for grabs.

All entries must be returned by 2nd September 2015.
