Ely Golf Club has announced a limited number of weekday green fee tickets will be available at the special rate of just £15, to be used between March 4th and March 28th, with tee times bookable from midday onwards.
Whilst the weather has not been kind to golfers over recent months, the green-keepers at Ely have been busy on the second phase of their bunker program, including the reshaping of the 8th green and the results are stunning. If you haven’t played Ely in a while the difference is noticeable.
Commenting on the improvements to the course, Club Professional Andrew George said “Changes to the bunkers on certain holes make the risk/reward decision making a significant factor and with a newly shaped 8th green and a minor tree removal program completed we have created a course ready for golfers of all abilities – but one where you’ll have to be on your game to beat par. Just as it should be!”
There may never be a better time to play one of the most highly rated courses in the county.
