Darktrace, the world leader in AI technology for cyber defense, has today announced that Universidad de Las Américas Puebla (UDLAP) has selected the Enterprise Immune System to defend the data of over 12,000 students and employees against sophisticated cyber-threats.

Deployed in under an hour, the Enterprise Immune System learns about the ‘pattern of life’ for every device and user on the UDLAP network, including the on-premise infrastructure, as well as students’ personal devices and non-traditional IT. Armed with this constantly evolving baseline of what constitutes ‘normal’ for the network, Darktrace detects emerging cyber-threats in real time. Darktrace’s autonomous response technology can then stop an in-progress attack, before it has caused any damage.
