Leading Enterprise Video Platform developer Cambridge Imaging Systems Limited has been in the business of developing software for media archive management systems since 1991. Its video content management software, Imagen, enables content owners to manage large amounts of media content and make it available online in a secure, fully customisable website. The company has worked on large scale projects for corporate, government and education clients including the Ministry of Defence, IMG Sports Video Archive, the BBC, Channel 4, the Imperial War Museum (IWM), UK Universities and Libraries.
Cambridge Innovation Capital, a £50 million investment fund launched last year, focuses on investing in pioneering companies and technologies in the Cambridge Cluster. The fund’s investment will be used to meet Cambridge Imaging Systems working capital requirements and enable it to further scale up its business and software offering.
