Mills & Reeve acts in custom build development sale

National law firm Mills & Reeve has acted for existing client O&H Properties Ltd on the sale of a development site in Peterborough to Urban Self-build for the delivery of 11 custom-build houses.

This is one of the first schemes to be funded via the Custom Build Homes Fund administered by the Homes & Communities Agency (HCA) and the first to utilise mainstream housing land as part of a larger development, rather than a simple small scale infill site. The Hempsted Green site is located at Hampton in Peterborough.

A broad range of delivery options are available from serviced self build plots, wind and water tight shells and turn key finished homes, providing the opportunity for input by customers to make their homes bespoke to suit their own needs.

Christine de Ferrars Green, who led the Mills & Reeve team said: “It is always exciting to be part of a ‘first’ and we were delighted to advise O&H on the sale of this site”.

Further details on the Custom Build Homes Fund can be found on the HCA website and details of this particular scheme on the Urban Self-build website.
