Mills & Reeve adds four to the partnership

Mills & Reeve has announced four new internal partner appointments, bringing the partnership to 118 across the firm’s six UK offices.

Christian Bull, Carina Cobbold and Vincenzo Maggio will become partners in the firm’s real estate team and Peter Wainman will become a partner in the technology team.

Christian Bull specialises in real estate work for the education sector and will help to expand the real estate offering to major education clients across the country. Christian has helped to develop the academies practice and will also provide real estate support for private sector clients.

Carina Cobbold is based in Norwich where major new developments are planned for the area. Carina is involved in the negotiations for the expansion of the internationally important Norwich Research Park and will also help the firm to exploit opportunities in the wider market for private sector developers, particularly in the south east.

Vincenzo Maggio works in the real estate investment sector work. He handles complex matters for high profile clients such as Trinity College. He has also played a leading role in projects including the Cambridge Science Park, the deep water container port at Felixstowe and a major urban regeneration scheme.

Peter Wainman is based in Cambridge, viewed as the UK’s leading technology hub. There are huge opportunities in the technology sector and Peter has been instrumental in recent blue chip client wins. Peter has particular expertise in data protection advice for commercial clients, a significant growth area.

The appointments will take effect from 1 June 2014.

Mark Jeffries, Senior Partner at Mills & Reeve, said: “I am particularly pleased that in making these appointments we have been able to promote four outstanding lawyers who have been with the firm since they qualified as solicitors.”
