Formerly head of the planning team at Eversheds’ Cambridge office, Peter has been involved in a number of high profile projects during his career, including the 2012 Olympic Games and various urban extensions throughout the South-East of England.
He has worked with landowners, developers, promoters, public sector bodies and consortia, and has expertise in advising on large-scale strategic residential led development projects and urban regeneration schemes. He also has know-how in advising on compulsory purchases having been involved in projects such as Crossrail.
Mills & Reeve was named Planning Law Firm of the Year at the Planning Awards for its innovative work on the Rugby Radio Station project. This was one of the largest single residential consents of 2014 for 6,200 homes on a sustainable urban extension outside Rugby. The team were the architects of the consent and section 106 agreement structure, which represent a fresh approach to managing development of this scale.
