National law firm Mills & Reeve has been recognised as one of the top 50 innovative European law firms in the 2012 Financial Times Innovative Lawyers report.
Not only was Mills & Reeve listed in the overall top 50 but the firm was also:
- “Highly commended” in the value resourcing category for the firm’s Tailored Inquest Service, which helps NHS clients to control legal spend, reduce outlay on low risk inquests and offers fixed fees
- “Commended” in the finance law category for orchestrating a property acquisition for Trinity College, Cambridge, where the college could still benefit from its charity status

Now in its seventh year, the Innovative Lawyers report is one of the top legal rankings in Europe. It covers in-depth the work of individual Europe-based law firms and their contribution to the wider economy, highlighting fresh thinking and innovative practice.
The Financial Times and specialist legal research company RSG Consulting spent five months preparing the report and conducted more than 500 interviews with senior lawyers and executives in order to arrive at the final rankings. Please click here to view the full report.
