National law firm Mills & Reeve has raised more than £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support after more than 60 employees took part in a “reverse jailbreak” challenge through the National Peak District.

The 64-strong team were dropped at random locations and were tasked with navigating up to 20 miles back to base in treacherous weather conditions.

Mark Jeffries, Mills & Reeve’s senior partner, who took part in the challenge, said: “The challenge was a massive success and everyone had a great time despite the persistent driving rain, gushing rivers, bogs, endless marsh land, and almost vertical cliff climbs! Mills & Reeve’s Charity Challenge Committee would like to thank everyone who donated and contributed to this year’s ‘challenging’ challenge.”
