Robert Murphy and Paul Turner have considerable commercial financial director level experience and will use their expertise to support clients working across a variety of sectors.
Robert joins My Business FD from Digital Learning Marketplace Plc, a public listed e-learning provider, where he was instrumental in turning the company round to profitability and achieving significant growth
Previous experience includes director level positions within the digital technology, creative media, healthcare and property sectors, and he has a particular expertise in technology markets.
Over the last ten years Robert has raised £10m in private equity and £50m in debt finance, led a series of acquisition programmes to £5m in value, developed e-commerce sites and expanded distribution channels in the US, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Robert speaks business French and Spanish.
Paul comes to My Business FD with over 20 years’ financial experience, most recently working as a portfolio finance director with a number of £multi-million turnover clients including businesses in the recruitment, retail and media sectors.
His portfolio of skills includes expansion planning, international growth, M&A activity, raising finance, cashflow and working capital forecasting and management, cost reviews and financial/systems reviews, and helping owner-managers to maximise the value of their investment.
