John’s new financial management business, which will be operating under a UK network of finance specialists, provides flexible financial management support at high levels and is an ideal solution for SMEs who are getting more cost conscious in the midst of the harsh economic climate. With new pension changes due to take place in October as well as other regulatory obligations, SMEs need as much help as they can get from specialists to avoid penalties, meet deadlines and maintain healthy margins and normally the cost to incur such levels of skills is exorbitant. John’s pay–as–you–use solution will afford SMEs the chance to meet their obligations and goals on a cost effective basis.
John’s recent roles include Group Finance Manager for a global pharmaceutical company where he was responsible for delivering a strategic plan to the group as well as the management of the delivery of key financial performance information. He had previously held a number of senior positions in some of the country’s leading PLC’s involving general management, national restructuring, complex financial modeling and systems implementation. John is currently also a Member of Council and Director of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland, whose headquarters are in Dublin where he sits on the Strategy Review Working Party Committee.
By operating from Milton Keynes, John can now offer e–FM’s pay–as–you use service to business markets in the North Home Counties and London. e–FM provides a wide range of expert financial management solutions on a flexible and scalable basis, with particular focus on SMEs. As well as running any aspect of the finance function on either an insourced or outsourced basis, e–FM’s services include the provision of online accounting, project and finance support, board level support, and other financial management based ancillary services using an extensive network. This new location brings e–FM’s network to 20 in the UK.
Gary Jesson, MD of the e–FM Network, said: “'I'm delighted to welcome John to the Network. He has a unique set of skills and experience that will be complementary to our team’s existing capabilities. He brings a wealth of both finance and strategic experience and expertise and will be a great asset to clients”.
'I am absolutely delighted to be joining the e–FM Network at this stage in its development and growth plan” says John. It is a brilliant business with great potential and it has an ideal offering for SMES in the current economic climate.'
