New radio show gives advice for businesses

Businesses in the Eastern region will have a new source of practical advice and tips when a new radio programme starts this month.

The Marketing Review with Cambridge Marketing Colleges is to be broadcast on Star Radio each fortnight, and will cover topics such as practical tips for businesses, case studies of local successes, specialist business sectors and the occasional marketing ‘guru’ looking at marketing issues.

In the first show, the well-known marketing expert Peter Fisk, CEO of GeniusWorks, will be speaking on why businesses should be innovative - the subject of his new book "Gamechangers" to be published in April.

Dawn Southgate - Head of Knowledge at the Chartered Institute of Marketing - will be reviewing three books all marketers should read.

Also in the first show, Steve Bax, Managing Director of Bax Interaction, a marketing research and strategy consultancy, gives practical advice on how to do online market research.

Kiran Kapur, Director at Cambridge Marketing College (pictured) said: “We hope that business owners and marketing managers on the move will find this new programme a valuable source of news and inspirational content, whether they listen at home, in the car or later online.”

The Marketing Review will air on Star Radio 107.9/1 FM fortnightly from Thursday 13th February at 7pm. There will be a launch interview on the Star Radio Business Hub on Sunday 9th February.
