Carole joins from Open Object Software, acquired by Idox in July 2016, where she held the position of Finance and General Manager for 16 years. With in-depth experience of day-to-day administration and general management, Carole brings a wealth of expertise to her new role at KISS. She will report into CEO, Simon Fryer.
Simon said: “We have continued to grow and strengthen our team, systems and processes considerably in the last 12 months, recruiting across several different departments. This has necessitated the appointment of an experienced Finance & Administration Manager who can assist the senior management team.
“We are fortunate to have someone of Carole’s calibre for this role and I wish her every success in her new role at KISS.”
Aside from the financial and administration, Carole will also be involved in HR and training. KISS runs an internship programme which takes two to six people each year, both from the UK, across Europe and further afield. The scheme has been very successful, with most account executives and junior designers starting off as interns. KISS also invests heavily in staff training and Carole will take an active role in the on-going development in the team.
Prior to Open Object Software, Carole has held several other roles, including Company Accountant at Dencora Homes, and Accounts Controller at Philips Finance Services.
Carole is looking forward to a new challenge. She said: “After working for one company for many years, I am really excited to be joining KISS. I’ve been working next door to the agency for the last six months so I’ve seen what a dynamic and vibrant company it is.
“Having worked at a start-up technology business and being part of the team that has helped to grow the company, I understand the challenges and am looking forward to bringing this expertise to KISS and supporting Simon and the management team.”
