NHS discount for conference on the future of personalised healthcare

Personalised healthcare and genomic medicine will be in the spotlight at a Cambridge conference ​this autumn. Examining the implications of genomics and other technologies on the delivery of healthcare,​ ​‘Healthy futures: genomics and beyond’ on 28 November 2017 is a must for those working at the frontline​ of healthcare. ​

The conference features:​ 

  • England’s Chief Medical Officer​, Professor Dame Sally Davies, who will be talking about her recent annual report, Generation Genome, and Claus Neilson, who will be presenting on how patients with diabetes are using personal connected health technologies to take control of their own health and wellbeing
  • ​Keynotes from ​​Chief Scientific Officer Prof Sue Hill​ on NHS England's plans for creating a national genomics health service and ​Dr Robert Green ​director of Genomes2People​,​​ a US-based organisation working for the judicious integration of genomic research into medical practice
  • Parallel sessions looking at the practical implications of delivering scientific innovations to health professionals and patients ​and a discussion of whether technology complements or contradicts the 'personal' in personalised healthcare
  • Quick fire updates on emerging technologies and tools for ​delivering personalised healthcare
