Emil Skorek, 9 from Red Lodge, near Newmarket, set himself the challenge after being inspired by record breaking marathon runner and Tom’s Trust ambassador Ben Blowes.
Emil, who attends Moulton CEVC Primary School in Moulton St Michael, said: "After watching others like Ben Blowes raise money through running, I thought it was time to take on the challenge myself. I will be running 3K every day in November, whatever the weather and no matter how tired I feel.
“I am raising money for Tom's Trust to help support children suffering from brain tumours. Tom was nine when he died, the same age as me, so every step I run is in his memory. Please donate to such an amazing charity."
Emil has been inspired by his role model - marathon runner Ben Blowes,- who also coaches Emil’s mum, Joanna.
Ben (pictured with Emil) said: “Tom’s Trust is a charity close to my heart and I’m really proud to be an ambassador for such a worthwhile cause. I’m really pleased that my passion for running to raise money for charities is inspiring future generations too. I’m so proud of Emil and hope he’s really proud of himself too.”
