The earlier editions of the Tech Kickstarter Competition were a resounding success, attracting over 40 startup applications. Out of these, 6 companies emerged as winners, showcasing groundbreaking and innovative ideas across life sciences, tech/AI, and green innovation sectors. The selected winners from the last two editions have demonstrated exceptional potential, reflecting the quality and promise of the competition’s entrants. Winners include:

- Biiah: A Cambridge-based early stage startup committed to improving people’s health
- Matrix Bio: A pioneering tech bio startup revolutionising the design and optimisation of hydrogels
Each winning startup received invaluable support through this initiative, gaining access to a comprehensive benefit package. This included cost advantages, dedicated project management, and a team of skilled full-stack developers. Additionally, winners benefited from business analysis support and more, enabling them to accelerate their app development and bring their innovative ideas to market faster.
