With the infrared thermometer PCE-660, the company has now added another absolutely low-cost model that measures temperatures of- 50 to 380 °C / -58 to 716 °F, at an accuracy of ±4 °C, ±2 % or ±2 °C, depending on the measured temperature. This infrared thermometer is ideal to measure very hot or moving objects from a safe distance. That is why it is often used in industrial environments, in the control of electrical systems, in HVAC, etc. The bright display makes use in dark environments possible. Targeting is very easy with the visible red laser beam. The PCE-660 has an optical resolution of 13:1 and the emissivity can be adjusted between 0.1 and 1.0. To increase the battery life, the test instrument turns off automatically after 15 minutes.
