As part of Pride Month at PEM, the team were joined by local Cambridge charity The Kite Trust, to deliver an informative session to staff on what it means to be LGBTQIA+ in the 21st Century, how to be more inclusive and gave insight into the experiences of LGBTQIA+ people at this time. Staff also enjoyed an introduction to identity language and terminology to be better allies to clients, colleagues and the LGBTQIA+ community.
Throughout the month, PEM have also been sharing the history of Pride, how to be a better ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, understanding the Progress Pride flag, the importance of pronouns and much more.
