Talk Title: "HVM - A suitable model for the UK"
Synopsis
The HVM business model is very suitable for application in the UK as it reaps the fruits of a well-developed educational infrastructure in a way which does not require low cost labour or an abundance of natural resources. The HVM model does, however, require staff with experience gained in global industrial companies both outside the UK and those still remaining in the country. HVM is important to the UK as it creates employment, generates tax revenue and helps to develop and retain expertise in the country. In the right environment, HVM companies will thrive with or without a national industrial strategy.
