RF & Microwave Design Seminar: RF, microwave and millimetre-wave design techniques towards 5G systems
The seminar builds on the success of previous events to highlight key topics in the industry. Experts in the field will focus on one of the most exciting frontiers of today’s wireless technology – design considerations and practical measurement challenges for broadband millimetre-wave systems.
Millimetre wave technology is the new frontier for 5G ultra-fast mobile communications and 60GHz WiGig, enabling a range of exciting new use cases and enhanced performance capabilities.
Moving up to mm-wave frequencies requires the RF engineer to deal with new design and measurement challenges, due both to the specific propagation characteristics of millimetre waves signals and to the very wide instantaneous bandwidths that may be involved. Some of these unique challenges will be covered in this year’s RF design seminar.
Among the confirmed speakers are:
- Doron Ezri,CTO Wi-Fi, Tel Aviv Research Centre-Huawei
