The iconic event is set to be the biggest marathon ever staged anywhere in the world, with an astonishing 100,000 runners scheduled to take part on Sunday, 3rd October.
Half of those will be pounding the streets of the capital while another 50,000 – possibly including you – will be taking part in the virtual event!
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices has six places left to offer and is keen to hear from any runners who might like to fly the flag for Team EACH.
The virtual event can be run on a course or route of your choice and you have 24 hours to complete the 26.2 miles.
EACH Events Fundraiser Emma Cook said: “The Virgin Money London Marathon is the biggest and most famous event anywhere in the world.
“Taking part and being involved is going to be a very special experience and we’d like to make that a reality for six lucky runners.
“Together, these participants will make history by creating the world’s first 100,000-person marathon.
“We have places to offer in the virtual marathon and it’s a great opportunity to be part of this unique challenge, while raising much-needed funds for EACH.
“Anyone interested in running for us can register for a place by heading to our website and clicking ‘apply now’.
“Places cost £10 and all we ask is you raise at least £200.
“In return for running for us you'll get a fundraising pack, support and advice from a member of our fundraising team, a tour of your local hospice and your very own running top to wear on the day.
“You’ll also receive a London Marathon medal and finisher T-shirt.”
Anyone interested needs to register by September 24th.
