Snow wonder Lakelon’s a winner!

They’re all Christmas crackers! That was the verdict of judges at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust when they reviewed entries into this year’s annual Christmas card competition.

They were submitted by children at Queen Edith Primary School and the winning entry – seven jolly snowmen with carrot noses - is the hospital’s corporate Christmas card for 2018.

It was created by four year-old Lakelon O’Rourke, but also highly commended were seven-year-olds Polly McGinty and Filip Ciurea Taranu,  Anna Deng, eight, Mia Patel, nine, and Laura Cessford, aged 11.

Chair of judges, director of corporate affairs, Ian Walker, said: “This is an annual competition organised by Addenbrooke’s Arts and supported by the school, which always comes up with some fantastic designs. This year was certainly no exception!”
