Taster Day in Marketing and Digital Marketing

Cambridge Marketing College is running a FREE taster day in Cambridge today (2 September) There will be a half day Introduction to Marketing and a half day Introduction to Digital Marketing.

What’s it about?

This taster day is designed to introduce you to both marketing and digital marketing. It will explain the basic concepts of marketing, some key terms and the practicalities of implementing a marketing communications plan and introduce you to many of the tools of digital marketing.

Who should attend?

This seminar is a good introduction for anyone interested in understanding the power of both marketing and digital marketing and how it can improve company performance. The seminar is designed for those new to the topic, or wishing to get involved in the use of marketing within their company. 

At the end of the seminars you will:

  • Have a basic understanding of what marketing is and how it evolved
  • Understand the need for market segmentation and effective targeting
  • Be able to prepare an outline marketing communications plan and use the tools of marketing, known as the Marketing Mix
  • Appreciate the development of digital marketing and how it’s changing everything we do
  • Relate digital marketing techniques to the basic principles of marketing
  • Develop an awareness of the digital impact on each element of the Marketing Mix
  • Understand the ‘customer journey’
  • Understand the range of tools available for digital marketing and how they can be implemented
