Taster session provides an introduction to workplace mindfulness

Mindfulness is the quality of awareness that comes from paying attention on purpose, in the present moment without judgement. Find out how to help your people find a new way of navigating life's demands, without opting out of their responsibilities and commitments, at a special Learning Collaboration taster session on Wednesday April 13th.

 

Aimed principally at HR professionals, this breakfast meeting is intended to introduce the subject of mindfulness as a forerunner to a more comprehensive course that participants may opt to run in their own companies.

If stress is an issue in your business, this taster will help you understand how people can develop the practice of mindfulness to reduce tension, and better manage the demands of life and work. Meditation is at the core of this practice, in addition to self-reflection, discipline, and self-compassion.

The session takes place on Wednesday April 13th at the Hauser Forum (Entrepreneurship Centre, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge, CB3 0GT) from 9.15 - 11.30AM.
