Team has earned Frost & Sullivan’s 2014 European Technology Innovation Award in the Wound Infection Diagnostic Industry for its innovative Spatial Reach concept for chronic wound monitoring. The award is part of Frost & Sullivan’s 2014 Best Practices Awards which recognise companies for superior leadership, technological innovation, customer service and strategic product development.

Commenting on the award, Ben Wicks, Team’s Head of MedTech said: “The underlying mechanisms involved in chronic wounds are extraordinarily complicated and interrelated. To increase our understanding of these wounds we felt it was essential we create new and more powerful research tools for the research community. We hope that Spatial Reach will help clinicians and researchers understand more of the role which infection plays in chronicity and eventually provide the basis for routine treatment and monitoring products.”
