Every day the NHS needs to collect 6000 units of blood for urgent life-saving blood transfusions.
NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) will be returning to TWI’s onsite conference facilities, the Granta Centre, on Wednesday 8 April to run their third donation session with us.
The sessions, which are open to all, will take place in the Granta Centre and run between 12.55 – 15.15 and 16.15 – 19.15.
TWI Operations Director Mike Russell said, ‘TWI has put extra measures in place to ensure the safety and confidence of donors, NHS staff and TWI staff, with our support teams working closely to ensure this important session still goes ahead. The message from the NHS is that you can still travel to donate. Giving blood and platelets is essential to the NHS and vulnerable patients. Please keep donating.’
By donating you will be helping to save or improve up to three lives.
