As part of the membership package Ubisense has set up a research system at HSSMI’s facilities in Rainham, Essex. This will enable Ubisense to conduct further research into new Smart Factory applications that can be implemented and tested before introduction into mission critical assembly lines.

About the HSSMI:
1. The High Speed Sustainable Manufacturing Institute (HSSMI) – is a joint initiative supported by Ford, Loughborough University and the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and hosted by CEME Ltd.
2. It is based in Rainham, Essex, close to the Ford Dagenham engine plant. The objectives of HSSMI are to support high speed sustainable manufacturing in the UK. The growing network of partners includes Ford Motor Company, Autodesk, Inotec, Oxford Innovation, DBR, WMG and Loughborough University.
