Alconbury Weald residents were able to enjoy pop-up food and chilled music in a series of Summer Saturday events, which brought the growing new community together. The new village green area, which sits in front of the listed Watch Office, recently converted into community space, provided the ideal socially distanced space for the events.
Rebecca Britton of Urban&Civic, the master developer behind the vibrant new community, said: “We were so pleased to provide some food and music to help people enjoy the new green spaces opening up. On the back of the great take-up, we will be working with residents to see how we can take forward similar events all year round and develop our summer entertainment programme for next year.”
