Join us at the first 2017 TECH for GOOD MeetUp on Wednesday 1 March, click here.
Each event focuses on a new topic, inviting those with lived experience and understanding of a particular social issue to join together with hackers, coders, developers and designers to share, improve, troubleshoot or develop ideas and projects that make a difference.
This month attendees will consider the question: "What does Tech for Good look like in the Education Sector?" with speakers including:
Sam Loose, CEO @ Knowledge Transmission - An EdTech company creating products for learning English as a foreign language.
Mark (Mr. C) Calleja, Founder @ HackLab - Teaching children how to harness the power of technology by understanding how it works from the inside.
Alistair Easterfield, Head of Science @ University Technical Colleges, Cambridge.
Held at the Allia Future Business Centre, the events take place over the course of an evening, with drinks and nibbles provided. There will be opportunities for informal networking, as well as talks and Q&A.
With over 40 members signed up for Wednesday's event, spaces are filling fast. Get involved today, visit: https://www.meetup.com/Cambridge-Tech-For-Good-Meetup/members/
