VNC® Automotive, a MirrorLink™ Certified product, gives drivers and passengers access to smartphone content controlled directly from the vehicle infotainment touch screen, bezel keys and steering wheel switches or by voice command. Demonstrations will include displaying content, such as navigation, music and internet radio, for the driver in the front of the car, whilst simultaneous streaming content such as videos and games to rear seat entertainment screens.
As well as being MirrorLink Certified by the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC), VNC Automotive supports over 100 handsets, covering Symbian, Windows Mobile, Blackberry and Android devices along with Apple’s iPod Out that allows an iPhone or iPod touch to output and display the iPod video interface on the head unit screen. In addition to mobile-to-vehicle connectivity, VNC Automotive supports cloud connectivity enabling the driver to access remote services and enable automotive OEM and dealer networks to interrogate vehicle systems and provide help to drivers.
