Headway Cambridgeshire's 'Bus Shop' will be between 10am and 4pm at the Cambridge City Hotel, Downing Street, Cambridge, CB2 3DT. The event is sponsored by Ashton KCJ Solicitors, who have been a tremendous support to the project.
With the help of GD Designer Dress Hire, Magpie’s Attic, Abigail Crampton Millinery Ltd and Superflyblacktie, we will be offering over 450 new, nearly new and vintage ball gowns and cocktail dresses. Men’s white tie and black tie outfits will also be available to hire or buy.
Lindsay Lapham, who has organised the project, says: “We have been overwhelmed by the public response to this initiative and are delighted to have such a gorgeous array of dresses to sell on Sunday. There are so many different colours and styles that shoppers will be spoilt for choice and with dress prices around the £50 mark people really will be bagging a bargain as well as supporting Headway.
As an added extra we are also offering Indian head massage, reflexology and back massage treatments to help students relax and chill out before their exams!”
