Cambridge International Airport announces new business development manager

Cambridge International Airport is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Jeremy Moore as New Business Development Manager. This newly created role is central to the airport’s strategy for ongoing sustainable growth.

In his new position, Jeremy will be building relationships with airlines, travel agents, tour operators and businesses across the East of England to develop key, new flight routes from Cambridge International Airport. Jeremy will be working alongside Head of Business & Route Development, David Surley, and Marketing Manager, Glynis King, and will be leading on travel trade and corporate business support for the airport’s new passenger airline services to Amsterdam, Paris, Geneva and Milan, beginning 2 September 2013.

Jeremy has spent the past seven years as Sales Manager for Air Mauritius and brings with him a wealth of experience from the aviation and travel industry, starting his career at Cathay Pacific Airways, before working for Tropical Places, British Airways and Thomson.

Jeremy says, “I am delighted to be joining Cambridge International Airport at such an exciting time. Cambridge Airport has just announced the launch of four new direct flights this September, and I have been blown away by the team’s passion, knowledge and focus on offering leisure and business travellers in the East of England a quality regional airport from which to travel. I cannot wait to start working with local travel agents, tour operators and businesses to build on this success.

Head of Business & Route Development, David Surley, says, “We are thrilled to have such a dedicated and experienced addition to the team as Jeremy. This is a very exciting time for Cambridge International Airport and the region as a whole. Not only are we set to launch four new direct flight routes with Darwin Airline this September, we can also offer residents in the East of England a number of great value package holidays with CI Travel, Balkan Holidays and Inghams. Jeremy has been drafted in to develop new flight routes to popular travel and business destinations that will be of direct benefit to residents in the East of England.’
