SBRI Healthcare programme needs assessors

The SBRI (Small Business Research Initiative) Healthcare programme is looking to appoint independent technical assessors for a series of competitions to be run over a two year period (2013-2015).

We are looking for assessors with a minimum of five years commercial and product development experience in the life sciences, healthcare or related industry sector to judge applications received through an open competition call.

SBRI competitions typically run in two phase, assessors will be asked to review applications against a set of selection criteria aiming to determine the scientific, technical and commercial feasibility of the proposed project. The competition themes will be in areas of key unmet needs that will be identified in partnership by NHS England and the new Academic Health Science Networks. Previous competition themes have included management of long term conditions, medicines management, improving patient experience in mental health and, at end of life and patient safety.

For more detailed information please see the SBRI Healthcare Technical Assessors document.
