Lesley, who will be raising money for the British Heart Foundation, has put in six months of dedicated training to take on this gruelling 5KM challenge which will see her tackle obstacles such as ice baths, rope climbs, six foot walls, fire, mud, water, barbed wire and gladiators, amongst others!
Lesley says: “I am a bit apprehensive about what to expect as this is my first Spartan race and is supposed to be the toughest yet. But I’m definitely up for the challenge and hope I can make the finish line, even if I have to crawl over it! I’m also hoping to raise as much money as possible for the British Heart Foundation.”
The Network team will be cheering Lesley on (from the safety of the sidelines) and is confident her hard work will pay off.
