Local video company WaveFX expands

New office, new van and a box full of branded coffee cups mean the team at WaveFX are hoping 2014 will be their best year yet.

Established in 2000, WaveFX has continued to change with the digital market. Initially a multimedia business producing 3D animation, interactive CD-ROMs and corporate videos, they have successfully expanded into live event streaming and broadcast.

Jamie, creative director of WaveFX commented: “Video production has exploded in recent years, with nearly every company having some kind of video presence either on social media or their website. Everyone should have a go at film-making with the technology so much more accessible. Three tips: ignore every effects button on your camera, keep steady and invest in a good microphone”

With a growing client portfolio including BAE, Tesco and Hotpoint, WaveFX has worked on several prestigious projects this year including live streaming HRH the Queen launching an aircraft carrier in Scotland – which can be watched again here: http://bae.webcastlive.co.uk/

Closer to home, WaveFX has created a series of 3D animations for Xaar, produced several course videos for ARU and filmed numerous events and conferences at Cambridge University.

Chris, lead animator at WaveFX, commented: “It sounds clichéd but we’re a small agency that do big things – listening to clients, developing digital strategies and delivering creative solutions is what we do every day and we love it."
