Anthias proud to announce course approvals by the Royal Society of Chemistry

Anthias is proud to be among the first companies to be given formal approval for its courses by the Royal Society of Chemistry, under their new training course accreditation scheme.

Diane Turner, Founder and Senior Consultant of Anthias, said: “It is important to all at Anthias to know that the courses we write and deliver are of a high standard. We work hard to make sure this is the case but it was crucial to have independent affirmation to reassure potential course attendees; securing this from the Royal Society of Chemistry is something we are very proud of."

According to Dr Andrea McGhee, the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Accreditation Development Specialist:“The objectives of course approval are to highlight good quality training available to the community and encourage members’ continuing professional development [CPD] while also supporting trainers to promote their courses globally. The approval process is one of peer review, involving assessment against set criteria by members that are experts in their field.”

David Barr, Head of Membership and Professional Practice, added: "Anthias have responded quickly to our introduction of a new process for approval of training and we appreciate their diligence in submitting their courses to the rigorous review this entails. We look forward to continuing to assess and review new courses in the future to ensure they benefit the learning and development of our members and the wider community."

All approved courses can be found on the Royal Society of Chemistry’s searchable database and the Anthias website.
