Prior to joining Streets Lee was a Director with Deloitte in Cambridge, where he was a member of the firm’s entrepreneurial team and an adviser to professional firms and owner-managed businesses.
Commenting on his appointment with Streets Chartered Accountants, Lee Maughan, said: “Moving from a Big 4 to a Top 40 firm is an exciting move, particularly in my new role as I am able to develop my interest in the thriving local economy and support the success of privately owned businesses. Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2004, Lee has developed a particular specialism and interest in the audit and assurance needs of professional practices and limited liability partnerships, whether that is the field of the legal profession or for those engaged in land deals or property development. This is an area of work, along with his work with owner-managed business that Lee will be focusing on and developing as a Director at Streets.
In addition to his client work Lee takes a keen interest in the Cambridge business community, through organisations such as the Cambridge Network and the Chamber and Institute of Directors. Lee is currently Treasurer and Vice Chairman of the Institute of Directors in Cambridgeshire.
