Alex is renowned for his illusory artwork, such as his melting house in Southwark. His projects always require careful planning and a significant amount of behind the scenes legal advice. For his latest work Alex once again turned to his friend and trusted advisor for advice, commercial solicitor John Yatchisin of Woodfines Solicitors.
He said, “My new collaboration with Vauxhall titled 'Pick yourself up and pull yourself together' involved several companies, organisations and interests. As always, I had total confidence in the work of John Yatchisin and Woodfines. I regard John as an important consultant and collaborator who provides me with legal security and peace of mind, allowing me to focus on my creative responsibilities. I continue to thoroughly enjoy the professional and personable nature of John's work.”
This was not the first time Alex has used John for the legal aspects of his artwork. John also advised Alex during the installation of his floating building in Covent Garden entitled ‘Take my lightning but don’t steal my thunder’.
John said, “It’s great working with someone as talented as Alex. His artwork is so creative. From a legal perspective the work often results in interesting and occasionally unusual legal issues to be taken into consideration . We’re happy to remove this burden from Alex so he can concentrate on creating amazing artwork.”
