The total budget available for the Call is £2,000K, with additional PV funds required from industrial bidders.
The closing date is 2 June 2015 at noon. Teams intending to bid should register their intention to do so by Monday 27 April 2015 at noon.
The Call aims to develop the growth of the UK space sector by funding high impact flagship space technology research and development projects. These must align with the National Space Technology Strategy and the related technology roadmaps covering the five main themes;
- Telecommunications
- Sensing
- Position, Navigation and Timing
- Exploration and Robotics
- Access to Space
The call is seeking to fund two large scale technology flagship projects with grants of £1,000K. Projects are required to be complete within 24 months. A compelling case would have to be made for projects requiring different grant values.
