Marshall supports Teversham School

Marshall of Cambridge has provided strong support for Teversham Church of England Primary School for over 50 years, and the Company continues to take a very keen interest in the school.

As part of the formal sponsorship, the Company also provides some limited financial support to provide some ‘little extras’ and Group Support Executive Terry Holloway recently visited the School at assembly to hand over a cheque.

In the photograph Mr Terry Holloway is seen handing over the cheque to Head Teacher Liz Jenkin, whilst children from the School are seated in the School Hall following their morning assembly.

Terry Holloway said: ‘We are delighted to be continuing our very strong support for Teversham Church of England Primary School, which particularly includes a number of our employees giving up their own time to help, not only with the School Governance, but also with Science and Technology Projects.  We were also particularly delighted that children from the School helped us to switch on the lights of Cambridge’s largest Christmas Tree, outside our Works, just two week ago’.

Liz Jenkin said: ‘We value enormously the very close relationship between Marshall of Cambridge and Teversham School, and our older children are looking forward to visiting the Company for their annual trip at the end of the term in the summer next year’.
